FK Architecture, a Fugleberg Koch Company, is pleased to welcome its new hires Yasser Waly, Allison McElyea, and Monica Leon. The new members offer rich backgrounds in architecture and design and have valuable experiences that will benefit the firm and positively impact clientele.

“At FK, we pride ourselves on hiring talented, imaginative people and giving them the tools to let them shine. We welcome Yasser, Allison, and Monica to the firm and are excited to have them as part of our growing team,” said Ted Hunton, Managing Principal at the firm.

Monica is joining the firm in the Marketing Department as a graphic artist. She assisted FK Architecture with its rebranding.  “I’m looking forward to making the most out of the creative freedom that I’ve been given. We’ll create fun and intriguing designs that’ll help the company stand out from other architecture firms,” says Leon.

Allison joins the company as a design assistant. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Interdisciplinary Humanities from Florida State University. She is currently a candidate for Associate of Science in Interior Design at Seminole State College. McElyea previously worked at Banda Design. Her skills include hand quick sketching & rendering, Adobe Photoshop & InDesign, sourcing, and space planning. “I am excited to be a part of FK’s team and get to know everyone.  I am also looking forward to learning the commercial side of design and seeing the designs come to life,” said McElyea.

Yasser joins the firm as a Sr. Architectural Project Manager. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Misr International University in Cairo, Egypt. He recently worked as an Architectural Project Manager for Interplan LLC, where he managed and completed several types of commercial projects nationwide. It is a pleasure to work with such a great team of experienced and creative professionals and to be able to contribute to the growth of the company and achieve its future goals, utilizing my experience and nurturing my passion for architecture,” said Waly.
