FK Architecture Designs Grand East Village Affordable Senior Housing Community in Orlando

In a feature published 11/12 in Informed Infrastructure, it was announced that the $30 million FK-designed Grand East Village has broken ground in Orlando. When completed in late 2025, the three-story, garden-style community will offer 92 affordable senior living units, inclusive of 69 one-bedroom and 23 two-bedroom units. Communal amenities will include pickleball courts, a fitness center, BBQ facilities, a dog park, a theater, Amazon Lockers, a community room, and a resort-style swimming pool.

FK is proud to be a part of providing innovative and creative solutions to the housing issues facing Florida’s seniors.”

The community is Housing Trust Group’s (HTG) first development in Orange County. Design and construction team members include general contractor BDI Construction, MEP and structural consultant JLC Engineering, interior designer V Starr, landscape architect Foster Conant & Associates, civil engineer EXO Limited, and MMR Consulting Services, Inc.
