Older Adults Embracing Technology, AARP Reports
In an article published 1/23 in Forbes, FK Managing Principal Ken Linehan discussed the uptick in tech-friendly design elements implemented in senior design projects. Residents moving into senior living units typically cite security and safety as a top concern, which is in line with the findings of a recent AARP report highlighted in the Forbes article.

“In the 50-plus living environment, implementing smart technology has promoted a sense of autonomy, increased security, and comprehensive safety,” Linehan said.
