240 Units Break Ground Near Gainesville, Florida, Mall

Multifamily Dive has recently featured the groundbreaking for the Evergreen Westside multifamily housing complex at the Oaks Mall in Gainesville, Florida, and the firm’s design work. FK Architecture has partnered with Evergreen Westside and Hallmark Heritage Evergreen on this project. The five-building community will be home to 240 apartment units.
“Gainesville is growing rapidly and has many new developments in the pipeline,” Sabrina Marano, project architect at FK Architecture, said in the story.
The five buildings each entail four stories, and will host living spaces ranging from studios to three bedrooms each. Evergreen Westside will also be home to a 2,300-square-foot fitness center, a shared pool, indoor dog wash, as well as a 3,400-square-foot clubhouse.
