Kyle Paxton Team Spotlight

Written by Kyle Paxton & Shelbee Bullock

Project Director Kyle Paxton spent 2019 overseeing two Central Florida projects. These “Sister Projects” are located relatively near each other in Southern Orange County. While similar, each has its own style and flavor, bringing something unique to the marketplace at each location. The first is Kestra – a new gated 280-unit residential market-rate apartment community located off of Winter Garden Vineland and Vista Oaks Street. It has already been recognized for its design responsiveness to the surrounding environment. One of the main design objectives was to provide and incorporate modern architectural features in the project for a cohesive and harmonious environment for its residents.

The second is Veere, also a gated 250-unit community that is set in a more urban environment, situated between Interstate 4 and Palm Parkway in Kissimmee. With a sleek modern design and superlative features, this one-of-a-kind property offers plenty of amenities and a superb location for its residents. Throughout the entirety of the development phase, Kyle’s responsibilities included design and consultant coordination, product review, and construction administration. Monthly site visits, as well as bi-monthly Owner-Architect meetings, helped to be responsive to any questions or issues that arose and helped produce two successful communities. Both projects will have been constructed in approximately 20 months. “Because there was a great working relationship with the Construction Team, it was great to see each month as the buildings grew & matured into a real community.”
