FK Architecture Awarded 2023 Best Place to Work by the Orlando Business Journal
We are excited to announce that we have once again been recognized with the Orlando Business Journal's Best Places to Work Award for 2023! As a company that values inclusivity, employee engagement, and culture, our firm is honored to receive this accolade for continuing to foster a positive business culture. Congratulations to everyone at FK who shares in this recognition as we celebrate our 60th anniversary.
Our firm scored 89.75 out of 100 overall. The Best Places to Work Award noted that 73.17% of our employees are "Highly Engaged" in their work at our firm. Additionally, 93% of respondents agreed that the senior leadership at FK values their input. And in response to a question about which one word best describes the overall atmosphere at FK, the top response from our employees was "friendly." The report showed that FK is an especially friendly place to work for younger professionals.
Respondents were invited to share their feedback regarding FK's working environment. One employee stated they are thankful for the flexibility in helping them deal with a series of personal emergencies.
"FK has been nothing but supportive [when I needed to choose] family, and my own wellbeing over any deadline," the respondent said. "As a whole team, they rose up to support me."
"The leadership team…displays an effective outcome of how much comradery really does change the work environment for the better!" noted another enthused employee. "I love how I can leave my home and head to work knowing I will be entering a fun and hardworking environment!"

The OBJ's Best Places to Work recognition honors Central Florida's leading employers, highlighting firms that foster a culture of exceptionalism and an enjoyable, meaningful and supportive workplace. The honorees work in various industries throughout Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake, Volusia, and Brevard counties.
In addition to this award, our 60th anniversary coincides with FK being named one of the 50 fastest-growing companies in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, and Lake counties by the OBJ. The publication ranked us at #26, having experienced 56.77% growth in the last three years.
